Solitude is available for day use from dawn to dusk for walking on the trails within the woods or having a picnic lunch by the pond. It is also available for overnight camping on six sites within the woods. Each campsite has a tent platform, picnic table, fire pit and composting toilet.

Camping is only available by permit by contacting Phil at mcnameephil@gmail.com. There is no fee for camping.

The main trail running south and north ( Maeve’s Way) is now wheelchair, stroller and walker accessible thanks to TD Friends of the Environment, MEC London and the Friends of Solitude for their financial support in this project .  Gate combination is 4538 to gain access to the trail.

There is also a memorial tree garden located in Solitude. Contact Phil at mcnameephil@gmail.com for information about planting a memorial tree.

Solitude is located at 45388 Dexter Line 7 Kms east of Port Stanley on the north side of the road.
